A little while ago, I started listing on one or two other sites, and promised to let you know how it went. I listed a few books on specialistauctions.com, and one sold quite quickly. The whole process was quite straightforward, not as automated as Ebay, but still easy to use. Obviously sales will not be as quick as on Ebay, but I hope that by listing more then sales will build up. As well as books, I am listing some of my collection of Ordnance Survey maps and some vintage postcards that have recently come to light. It will be interesting to see how the different categories fare. Meanwhile feel free to browse:
Not much to report on Tazbar; I’ve listed a few bargain books under another ID, but that is now a priority to develop.

Well best of luck but selling books is very hit & miss. You have to be in for the long haul. I’ve had several books on SpecialistAuctions for months, including football related, which is a niche area for this site. But not a single one has sold yet other odds & ends of mine have sold there. As for Tazbar, that’s been a sad disappointment. Nothing of mine has sold for months. Maybe Mr Markham’s return will give it a much needed kick in the pants though sometimes I think he gets a bit carried away and needs to keep his feet firmer on the ground. But he clearly has drive, which is something the site hasn’t shown evidence of during his absence.
